Euphorbia

The sun loving Euphorbia, otherwise known as ‘Spurges’,  have luscious green leaves and flower in a range of colours from yellows through to reds.

This architectural plant is fast growing and should be planted in a sunny position with light free draining soil. Sizes vary widely but Euphorbia are commonly used to add structure to borders.  You can also take cuttings from Euphorbia early summer and plant these up in a greenhouse or coldframe. These can be planted out in containers where Euphorbia look equally striking.
