Online Garden Design Course

There’s a number of garden courses available online but one that has caught our eye recently is Successful Garden Design's Beginner's Course. This online course is the first of it's kind designed specifically for homeowners. The course consists of video tutorials, so you can see first hand how to do each part of the design process. There are also audiovisual recordings which accompany the written lessons, ideal for those who like to learn on the move. 

The course is written and run by ORIGIN garden design's Rachel Mathews. She has nearly twenty years garden design experience. Rachel shares all her top tricks and tips so that you can design your own garden successfully. Her course offers so much more than a book or traditional online course can because of the multimedia content. Each student can fit the course around their lifestyle. Students can watch the video tutorials and listen to the audio version of the course as often as they like and Rachel is always on hand to answer questions and give guidance when needed.

Rachel runs two courses a year. And for those who don't wish to take a full course on designing their garden, Rachel also offers free advice on the Successful Garden Design website each week. There are video tutorials and garden slideshows that offer plenty of inspiration and tips for beginners. She also has a range of instantly downloadable garden design e-books available from Easter 2010.
